Re: Ford EEC-V Tuner Site
Yeah the VQAALN5, VQAALT3 & VRAALN3 files are weird to have date 2010 for that old model controller is weird... it must have been an update that Ford must have thought needed to be done.

Re: Ford EEC-V Tuner Site
I don’t think the eec files ever came out as vbf as I’ve worked with the later vbf files for SID controllers & they weren’t hard to deal with just needed 3 different vbf files to make the entire binary that was on the controller.

Re: Ford EEC-V Tuner Site
The software they use I think is called Ford IDS so maybe that but I'll leave it up to you... all the files downloaded from them seem to either be in .BIN. .VBF or .PHF format but none are encrypted from what I know.

Re: E38 Negative Response to read-write ECU
Ahh that all sounds a bit over my head, but yeah the tool I was using to log info I think I had the filter set to 7E8 maybe, I was logging the data with the elm but I do have MDI, AVT & obviously HPT cable but I'm not sure how to make it spam the request to wait till it gets the correct response...

Re: Ford EEC-V Tuner Site
They were direct from Ford site....https://www.fordtechservice.dealerconnection.com/vdirs/common/auth_error.asp?reason=no_logon They changed it so you now have to have a log on so I can't get access anymore, but I have a whole heap of files from YEARS ago so yeah I can most likely send you whatever ...

Strangely they came up saying they were in a commercial format but definitely not & I don't think encrypted they're 216KB in size!
