Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
So i paid for a download of the GMW3119 PPEI 2.5 document the other day & spent a few hours going through it tonight as i wasn't having any luck trying to find some of the early CAN ID's. Turbokid provided a couple but since the VZ is a bastardized setup being from Australia and all, he did not ...

Re: E40 ECM TO T43 PROGRAMMING SOLUTION NEEDED!
did u end up getting this solved, what is your actual problem? Is it just the PRNDL not being indicated correctly?
I will probably be tackling this problem on the car i mentioned previously as I think i have the can stuff understood & covered now.

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
ooh shes rowdy, could have thrown a 4th gear pull while you were there :D It's dumped at the extractors, 2 man job to put the exhaust back on, but i also need to change out the engine mounts as they have collapsed. Have a car to tune tomorrow, so if i get that done early enough I might be able to g...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
Tailshaft is in, i pulled the engine harness and removed all the old trans plug, neutral safety switch wiring & T42 controller. Wired in the tapshift tonight, got it working on 2 x TCM oses, what i wasn't expecting was the dash showing every gear it was in. Youtube video [youtube]https://youtu.b...

Re: E38 - Speedo Calibration
so did some quick testing on the vz 6 speed conversion car. i keep both engine & trans to 478 pulses per km. in efilive thats H0105 (this is basically worked out diff gear/tyre size) In scanner both ecu/tcm show same KPH. but dash needed adjusting, which is also done in the ecu, because it's put...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
I had to go looking through my files as i have been playing and broke the comms. lol. ecu stays the same. I just made changes to the RX device index to remove all the modules that don't exist when i copied the corvette system segment over. Again matched the original T42, since the vet segment seems ...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
so looking like my suspicions were correct, by changing the RX/TX settings around on a later T43 calibration 24249179 to the earlier 24243170 it fixed the U0100 loss of communication error. I need to go pick up the tailshaft for it, so hopefully be able to load on the dyno over weekend if i pull the...

Re: GM Can to ALDL
all e38's supported dod, but id leave the plug off & never use it. i dont know why anyone would want that shit anyway. I know for certain that in a ve commodore up until 2009, so 07,08,09 gearboxes are inter-changeable. the only proviso being you need to do a full flash of a 9cva box back to an ...

Re: GM Can to ALDL
Motor doesn't matter, L76,L98,LS3 etc is just part differences, it's the controller side that's important. For the vz im working on, I could easily go back to the original OS, as i know what switches need to be changed in the ECU to support the 6l80. The PIM is expecting to get the gear broadcasted ...
