Ok. Thanks. Drove to work this morning with dash in diag mode. Was watchin inst. fuel. Started out up around 2.8l/h on first start/warm up idle. Then when i got to work, was hovering between 1.5 & 1.8. How does that sound to u guys? Really appreciate your help and patience with a slow learner li...

Ok so once i disconnect the battery is there anything i have to do to reset base idle or anything?

Well ill see how it runs now after the ecu reset. Just for posterity sake, whats the proper procedure for ecu reset on my car?

So in saying that, my car is shifting as it should be? Only reason i ask is because as soon as i noticed the shifting wasnt what it had been, my fuel consumption went thru the roof and hasnt settled down yet. just under half a tang from 140 kms. but not throwing a code when i did the diag. the only ...

Bump... Tried doing a ECU reset tonight so i will see if that helps at all. from what i can tell, below 70 it will stay in 3rd but just after that it will go to 4th. any ideas would be appreciated.

Also is there a screen that tells me which gear the ecu has chosen in realtime?
