Re: Delco 265 Hemi install help

The camira module is looking for a sine wave style signal that swings positve and then negative. I have some better pics from a digital scope at work but this shows the basic idea of what goes into a camira module and what comes out (the hall effect style is basically what the module outputs).... ht...

Re: Delco 265 Hemi install help

The filter is going to be a fairly simple circuit and really with a little bit of work would be cheap and simple as a DIY project. Most vehicles had an electronic ignition system offered at some point so swapping dizzies is normally the go. The only issue i can see using the filter circuit is your s...

Re: Delco 265 Hemi install help

Hi vjcoupe, if you have electronic ignition on the 265 just use that dizzy, for the effort to adapt the VN coil packs with the tiny gain you get it would not really be worthwhile. But, it would be pretty sweet having a wasted spark setup. Find a coil thats a non-resistor type and it should be fine. ...

Re: The Latest Hardware Mods For The Delco ECM and PCM

The boards are designed by me and will be available only through delcohacking.net. I have sold them in the past (starting in 2006) in kit form or assembled so will most likely continue with that, I solder the surface mount device before posting them though. Its good to have some DIY available! There...

Re: The Latest Hardware Mods For The Delco ECM and PCM

Yep your onto it, its a write enable jumper - with the jumper on it allows write mode. Both NVRAM boards have this now. Once your done making changes for awhile just remove the jumper to hopefully stop the NVRAM from becoming corrupt for no reason.

The Latest Hardware Mods For The Delco ECM and PCM

Now that some initial testing is complete here are some pictures of some new products that will be available very shortly. Combine these hardware modifications with some software for the ECM/PCM and a laptop, and you can turn any ECM or PCM from VN to VX into a realtime tuning capable device. Realti...

Re: De-Nissan-ised VL

Nice VL Jayme, i like the look of em without a bodykit. They just needs rims and some lowering :) I had a VR 5L and TH400 in my VL Calais for a few years (was also a nissan 6 to begin with). It ran a 14.5 when i took it for a run at the motorplex here in Perth. Also, the reaction time is not part of...

Re: what is needed to convert 808 to realtime

Hi and welcome to the forums wildwagon1. To get realtime on the 808 you need some hardware and software. Some details on the version 2 NVRAM hardware can be found here... https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32 . You also need a way to communicate with the 808, there will be some n...
