You need to have echo on with that cable.

Re: Chassis earth vs sensor earth

No thats not really correct, and its absolutely not for redundancy in the case of the two earth connections in the factory ECU configuration (noisy/high current and the quiet/signal earth) either. Its called star grounding and is the most common way to ensure that there are no earth potential differ...

Re: Xdl for VY V6 - what do you see ?

Does the temp sensor reading look correct? That would be my first thing to investigate.

Re: Delco Nismo, 1984 300ZX VG30ET Turbo

Good to see the Datsun is up and running again after its gasket fail. Looks like you have been having some good fun with it in events. The fuel settings delcowizzid is talking about are for injector opening time (Injector - Injector Bias vs Battery Voltage and Injector - Injector bias add-on vs Inje...

Re: Arduino or RPi?

Great choice on hardware, will be able to do everything you are wanting to do and more. If you add ALDL hardware to your setup you can control things like the fans via the PCM using ALDL mode 4 (https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2460) and not need a SSR any driver hardware, can a...

Re: Open source GM OBD2 flash tool using a ELM327 device

The slope is called slew rate, and its generally to pass EMI testing and stop/reduce any electrical interference in the vehicle. A square wave is comprised of many frequencies, the fast edges being extremely high and will cause it to fail EMI testing.

Re: Enhanced maf tune to 12p way out of range

I think you copied the items over from an ADX I made awhile ago to calculate the VE for MAF PCMs? It calculated VE a couple of different ways, maybe something got messed up when copying items over. There were LOTS of linked items and calcs.
