you need to get the .XDF file to allow you to open the bin.

everything you need can me found in the for sale section or PM VL400

the software to view the bin files is Tuner Pro, & the definitions are available on here as well

set the base idle correctly

it wasnt just in BT1 it was all variants

the plate was to help prevent theft in VP

they have a different part number so the production line can id them for assembly, the only ones with any changes were VT 5.0, the idle in P/N was increased to help keep charge in the battery when idling with the roof lights going. as far as i was aware the code on the knock board is the date code

try doing a search but if you look at the memcal its pretty simple to see what pin goes where on the eprom...

does it have any other stuff under the eprom?

it looks like it starts at $200 & is $FB based, although the broadcast code is the same a BDJH, so if you burn this file it runs ok?
other than that i cant see much else useful
