Re: P10 Tuning

Thanks, but as above we need another developer with interest in adding slave support to go further. Its a hard one, because the code is stored in the cpu and we need to understand and create the mechenism of running code on the slave and using shared memory to get the payload in to the slave's stora...

Re: P10 Tuning

No. Mine arrived but appears to be dead on arrival, and there has not been much interest in it, or few posts about it. As above you can tune the calibration in a bin, but at this stage pcmhammer support for the slave cpu is unlikely to be developed without another developer coming aboard who wants t...

Re: Cables That DO NOT Work With PCM Hammer

Exactly right. Regarding the tactrix, its not so much pcmhammer doesnt support the tool, its that the tool doesnkt support the pcm's vpw protocol. Re: Tuning Order

You probably want to get idle in the ballpark first so you can sit there in the car looking at your laptop without it stalling. How you get the idle in might depend on calibrating any hardware you change, MAF, injectors, etc rather than idle tables. Then I'd do AFR, if the spark seemed sain and not ...

Re: New engine, first start up tune ?

If it's a '424 and you are putting 11P on the standard memcal it'll fit. But they're very old and they don't have electronic erase. So you need to get a UV eraser and pull the sticker off the chip and erase it with UV light. Most people replace the chip with an electronic erase version, and make up ...

Re: New engine, first start up tune ?

You pull the nvram off the assembly and put it direct in the programmer. use a small flathead screw driver and lift it up a little at one end, then the other, then back to the first and so on and be careful not to bend the opposite corner leg when it comes off. when re-installing go gentle and make ...

Maybe. There are people that run both computers from both generations in parallel, so consider that might be the case too.

Re: NOOBIE: Data Logging & altering the tune

To give any context you need to tell us what car/configuration, including what trans, what is non-standard (if anything), what bin file you used, what xdf and adx file you are using to tune and log.
