Re: Tuning tools for a VT V6 Ecotech
Currently I just edit a 128k bin then stack it and upload whenever I make changes, so that they are the same in all banks so as to avoid that exact problem, however this is tedious. It sounds as though the unused address lines on the ostrich are floating and being interpreted as being a logic 1, the...

Re: Tuning tools for a VT V6 Ecotech
Initially I used EmUtility until I found out that there was an extra toolbar in tunerpro that was turned off (bank selection). I am using the Ostrich set to 32 pin / 4Mbit, and yes I have been just using a stacked 128k * 4 bin. I am planning on disconnecting A17 & A18 from the bus and putting pu...

Re: VT Supercharged $A5 DARC Dissassembly (can reassemble)
I've been having a bit of a look through this disassembly, and I have noticed that it reads and writes to memory in the 0x1800 - 0x1Cxx range.
Is there another memory device on the bus (since writing to the memcal is pointless being an eprom) ?

Re: Tuning tools for a VT V6 Ecotech
I have my series 1 VT SS l67 running very happily on an ostrich right now. I made a very simple adapter out of 2 40 pin header sockets (which I trimmed down to 32 pins with a hacksaw) and some prototype (strip style) PCB. I cut a strip of prototype pcb to fit lengthways between the pins of each conn...

Re: delcohacking.net stickers
I quickly sketched this (it's just the "delcohacking.net" text without the 3d drop shadow) if it's any use.
The linework is all vector, so it should scale as large as one might like.- Thu Oct 22, 2009 3:13 pm

Re: Supercharged V6 MAP & MAF
Well that's good news, if Kalmaker can do it then surely we can figure it out. It's been a while since I have played with HC11's but I guess this would put those years of studying microprocessor systems to good use.. Time to get disassembling! Anyone know a good (preferrably free) IDE for HC...

Re: Supercharged V6 MAP & MAF
Doesn't Kalmaker still use the factory PCM though? Obviously changes to the standard code would be necessary for my idea to work, but Ultimately it would allow for a self tuning VE system, which would be keep the A/F ratio correct in most circumstances, irrespective of boost pressure, manifold temps...

Supercharged V6 MAP & MAF
I would like to run both a MAF and a MAP (& mat) on my supercharged v6 VT. Is this feasible electrically? ie is there any spare inputs on a VT PCM that would be appropriate? My theory is that if we have both, the VE of the engine can calculated dynamically by the PCM for a known volume of the in...
