If it’s flashing on and off data check that the Echo settings in the ADX are correct for your ALDL cable.
If unsure change and try to connect again.

Re: VX v6 wagon code 49
Sounds like a faulty cam angle sensor now.
Check wiring that it is connected and wiring not damaged after being removed and refitted.
Also check fitted correctly.

Common for fuel regulator to fail and leak fuel into the vacuum line.
If there is fuel in the vacuum line replace the regulator.

Re: Supercharged Big Block chevy ecu
If you’re already familiar with 12P and 165 ECU’s are readily available I’d see no reason not to head that way.
Just check on TBI support or if better running a port injection setup, hopefully someone with more experience with TBI can comment.

User TunerPro to compare your “Latest Mod” bin with the one provided by Phoenix to see what he has changed.
I expect it will be the injector size and also the battery offset values for the injectors. There may also be a couple other things depending what is identified in the XDF.

Re: what do i need to flash a vy pcm to l67
No good with the VR Auto ECU to run a 4cyl but the earlier VN/VP 808 ECU has been used before.

Re: what do i need to flash a vy pcm to l67
No factory L67 was fitted with a flash ECU, they were all memcal style ECU’s.
If a tune from a memcal is flashed into the flash ECU it will brick it as they’re not compatible.
You need to modify a factory NA or the enhanced flash tune ideally to suit the L67 engine.

Shitbox Rally - Spring 2021 - Cancer Council Fundraiser
HQ355 and myself are participating in the Spring 2021 Shitbox Rally from Mackay to Darwin which is a fundraiser for the Cancer Council. Our Shitbox is a 2004 VY Commodore Wagon (plenty of sheetmetal for sponsors) with 440,000+km on the clock and still running the original engine and transmission. An...
