No does not come out the white side clips are to lock it in the straight ahead position when removing the steering wheel works some time.

The 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Truck Automatic L35 4.3 Litre (12212156) is a ls1 pcm and efi live has a custom 2 and 3 bar tune.
The pictures are what I made from the factory ones.
I was thinking the bypass wire should be wired to a 5 volt for the pcm to control from startup or switched in some way.

I looked at this a while ago found a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Truck Automatic L35 4.3 Litre (12212156) wiring and tune file.
It uses only the number one coil driver and low res 3x crank.

Here is how Holden did it with the LS1 utes and used the same Module for supercharged V6.

When I first started tuning that was what I used on the road. was one of the first portable one that run on internal battery's. Then when EFI came out I used it with a graph book to map out fuel maps well before data loggers and laptops. in the good old days of analog system then came digital system...
