Re: low flow injectors

Half a pound per horsepower is a minimum. So a 14 lb injector would be enough for 28hp. I would be hesitant about putting a 34mm TB on a 140cc bike. I had enough trouble with a 36mm TB on a 530 single. You will need a battery and GOOD regulator/rectifier if you intend to go for EFI. Does the magneto...

Re: help - VS V8 Auto with $83 bin

Have you tried using the stock bin in the realtime board? Just to make sure it isn't a hardware problem.
Which NVRAM are you using? DS1245?

Re: Willem programmer help No_3

Got the willem and seems to work well on my XP machine, but won't run with Windoze98. Any suggestions?

They suggest it is W98SE compatible.

Re: absolute n00b

Might be worth putting it in diagnostic mode and try taking it for a drive to see if it still does it. This will lock the timing at 10 deg below 2000RPM. Would eliminate that as a potential cause.

Would also be a good opportunity to check your base timing.

Just a thought.

Re: JE Oil pressure switch - WHY ?

I would sugest it is a matter of personal preference!

Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone was the same, and no-one ever tried anythig different.

Re: Willem programmer help No_3

Has anyone here tried one of these true USB programmers? http://www.darkwire.com.au/html/true_usb_willem.html or http://www.darkwire.com.au/html/wellon_vp-190_programmer.html I only know of one which has been lightly used but seems to be OK. Just after some opinions and experiences. Better alternati...

I love it when I hear about people getting caught doing crazy stuff like that and get away with it!

It is always good to be able to check emails when your away from home and dont have any of your own internet access.

Re: 1st disassembly Code $3E from US 1227730

I am using the drewtronics one. Have sucessfully disassembled many bins. Have you thought about using the $8D code? Well documented and easy to find. Here is a good site I found for 4 cyl stuff using the ANHT bin. http://www.furyworld.fsnet.co.uk/GMECM.html
