Yeah Dylan I am going 11P for him.
Im just interested in how the checksum is corrected or disabled in tunerpro and what to look for...just curious to learn as I've never done it before....lol as you can tell.
Its a pain as the car is 100kms away and I only get details every 2nd day or so.

With the original read off his HSV memcal,i disabled Vats, done the netres mod,he says the engine starts and runs but auto trans is not taking off in 1st...more like 3rd or so he says. CEL is on. Is this a likely sign...

Check out the steering system on the Barina, spark and trax,
The drive motor is on the steering column.
The steering shaft connects to basically a manual steering rack.

Re: VS V8 Auto question

Is the checksum changed in tunerpro or the burner? I have no idea about checksums and offsets and where to change it as ive never dabbled in it and h...

Re: VS V8 Auto question
I read the FAQ and I confused myself thinking that because its a 64kb file it needs to be stacked to fill a 512kb chip and what you said is the "finished" size makes more sense.

Re: VS V8 Auto question
That part always confused me....and still does lol. Burned the original read off my mates hsv memcal with vats disabled, verified all good. Compared original bin to modded bin in TP and job done! Will give my mate the memcal tomorrow and he can try it out tomorrow night and hope it starts for him.......

Re: VS V8 Auto question
Ok I selected that and changed the jumper settings and read the hsv memcal and saved the bin.
Looks like its ok,starts at $001000 I've put the guinea pig memcal in the oven(eraser) and it reads blank,so all good there!
