I'm gonna put something in it; I'm being encouraged by some mates to take the Wasp but it's a long way and as many of you know, it's a dicey old bastard to drive.

I may cave and take the rat Bellett which I'm sure will stir interest with it's new artwork...

My mates (KE10 corolla and Desoto) will be leaving Adelaide about 8am and moving ahead of the Cruise to get a good spot at the end; I'm happy with that!

More details to come when I get the chance.

Cheers,

Dave

Apparently there aren't any forms available on the Net so if you're in SA and you want to enter, you have to call or email the details above and they will snail mail a form to you!

Cheers,

Dave

I have been told there's no need to actually enter this event; just rock up on the day.

Is there anyone with a pre-1970 car that is going to rock up? Otherwise I'll just rock up by myself!

Actually, if nobody else is going I'll just skip it. I have been told it's one of the better classic events on our calender though. :(

Actually I've bailed on this event totally.

Front brakes are probably too dicey for the Adelaide Hills anyway...

Just for the record...

I ended up going to this event to spectate only, but such is the casualness of the event, $5.00 got us in for a couple of hours AND we parked on the grass! Unlike some events that are crushed under the pain of liability insurance, there were no rules in relation to not leaving before 4pm and in fact the participants openly cruised around the oval!

2lDOHC came in his Bellett as well (I was in the ratBellett) but we forgot to take any photos! I got some photos of some other cars but not the Belletts. I should post some as time permits.

Cheers,

Dave

I took a few pics of this event but haven't gleaned them off the camera yet.

Plus I forgot to take a photo of my car or Ross's car there!

Here are some on the OzRodders forum

I found a mate of mine did take a couple of pics of the Belletts as we were rollin' out of the picnic!

By the way, that green rod in the background was running a BMW M3 motor (or M5, I can't remember)!!!!
