That's an awsome lineup. Congrats. Ahh, you know i've got this thing about an immaculately presented group of Bellets, Gary. Would have been a maximum effort spit and polish. Ohh...and the GT'S... Thanks for sharing. btw..."blue grey/green" wasn't that an original metallic colour for GT's ? Mine was that when I bought it, but had lost it's highgloss finish and was severely crows footed. It also had an immitation black aligator skin soft top over ther pillars and roof. Was this a factory variation, or after market add on ? (might have looked rather shiek cleaned up) B

Neil Miller Brett, it is a 1967 model with the 1968 grille. (you know how hard it is to get 1967 grille's) Painted in Two Pak, a few years ago it had a Turbo motor in it, you would have seen it at a Corowa National some years ago Brett when you were on "P's" I think? Currently it has a Gemini motor on board with a twin choke weber carburettor and a 5 speeder. Originally owned by Tom Amos, Neil is Tom's brother inlaw.

ahh yes, now i know the car! looks much much better since i saw it last. thanks dave. and yes, that would have been 1992.... the good ole P plate days. where has that 18 years gone......................??
and yep B, that blue/grey was an original colour. there were alot of GT's built in that shade. "1968GT"s example shown in his avatar here shows the correct colour, and is a beautiful example of it. the vinyl roof would have been an add-on. no GT ever had one from the factory.
cheers.

Hey Brett, sorry I mentioned you on "P"s, you are copping some flack now eh!! I remeber your Dad telling me in Corowa you had the webbers on the 1969 sedan and you were on "P"s we both had a bit of a laugh about that, the restrictions on mods for "P" drivers were not in place those days, at least not in NSW!! Just as well you have "broad shoulders"!! LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU GUYS By the way that sedan you had then, is that now Steve T's sedan? Dave M.

not coping fack here dave. laughing along in fact! takes alot more than that to get a bite from me. we had the restrictions back then too. it's just that the cops didnt know what a Bellett was, let alone what it should or shouldnt have had fitted to it, so they left me alone..... sort of! nah, steve's 69 is a different car. he still has it too. my 69 is now back with us. it went to craig for approx 8 years, and now Wal (dad) is rebuilding it. will be a nice car when done, and faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssstttttttttttttttttttttttt!

No FLACK for Brett a statement of years on the road by me . When Isabelle & I were first on the road speeding fines were $10 & P'S & points were not invented & police gave you a kick up the Klacker & sent you home as for the PIL thats another story .,"PEACE ON " Geoff & I already know the answer . Cheers till Coona Ken

Got to enjoy it & the Bellett's as for the new cars the only reason that you know that there is a motor there is every so often you may see something you recognise eg plug lead or brake line . Bellett's soooooooo easy to work on Isabelle & I go back a lot of years cheers Ken till coona
