I don't always go to MITP because it is just 2 weeks before British Car day in Canberra. With two Pommy cars, plus the fact that I run a Yahoogroup for local Rootes owners, it's hard to make an excuse to not be there However, if I knew some Belletts were coming from outside the ACT to be at MITP, I would definitely make the effort to get there. So if anyone plans to come, let me know and I'll arrange for us to meet up. Did I say that there would probably be over 700 cars there? Cheers, Vic PS if you can't get to MITP, think about coming to the Autumn show - "Wheels 2011" - held about 3rd week of March. Bound to be over 1000 cars there. |

That's a distinct possibility Vic, we're just an hour & a half away. 700 cars? Sounds like a day out to me! And Trace can take the kids shopping. Yeaaaah. Do we need an entry form? We'll work on this! Thanks, Matt. |

Matt, The email I got from the organsiers makes no mention of an entry from, and based on previous events it will basically be "anyone who turns up will be in". There will be a large range of cars - everything from vintage Austins to hotted up Toranas to Nissan Silvias to Mustangs to BMWs to whatever. The area is a nice park with shade trees and open lawns For shopping, Westfield Belconnen mall is 7 minutes walk away. The site is next to Lake Ginninderra and has picnic areas, BBqs, playgrounds etc. Heaps of food places, from Maccas to licensed restaurants or pizza places within 5 minutes walk. Hope you can make it. Cheers, Vic |
