mine appears to have 2 the engine one I have unfroze thanks to joshs advice soak overnight in rp7 the other on the heater itself is hard frozen perhaps at one time they have bypassed the inside one and used the one at the motor for controlling in the winter mths ?? ...option is to have the radiator guys put on a new tap at the interior heater and have the motor free flow ?? |

You can frre up thr internal tap. Its a bit tough to get out but once cleaned up and a new o ring fitted. Will be fine. |

Just to add, if you haven't tried to remove the tap from the water pump, then don't. I broke the housing of my pump trying when I was 17. It had welded itself in place. As long as it is open, you can fix or replace the inside one. My Florian has an inline one on the inner guard. Ok, you have to stop and open the bonnet, but it takes seconds. Cheers, Matt. |

much to the dismay and shock of james in Tassie I told him I got the old tap out of the water pump he was astounded it didn't crack the water pump as did matt ...I was lucky I guess or dumb ..maybe the second the radiators have both been cleaned the heater inside has had the tap removed and I will work the heater from the old tap which after some advice from josh (thank you) it now works great again cheers and thanks everybody ..davo |
