   | Davo !! The ones you have bought just don't look right. And if you could fit them you'de have the first PR90 HIGH RIDER ever The bought ones also look second hand. I bought newies on special at a super cheap auto place, i think i was lucky at $60 a pair. Just take your old ones in and they will match them. They were Monroe and they were gold and looked very similar to the old ones, that's all i can remember. Oh, and they are just a little fatter than originals so you need to file out a few mm out of the lower front wishbone hole to fit them through. I think there is a thresd on here about Bellett replacement shocks also. B.

Those definitely look wrong [very fat and too long] and very s/h. Also missing the bottom mount 'bar' below is part of BCCV interchange list........ see also the threads on here for part numbers.

   | Depending on how much u lower it will govern what ones u fit.....HK T G Holden ones are fine if it's at or near standard height.
Lower it like mine and u need shorter HQ ones, or u'll punch the bottoms out of the longer HK's.
What Geoff said is rite too. U need Holden FRONTS all round, and is best to get "sports" ones for the front and "standard" ones for the rear so it handles..... Well as best as it can without suspension work.

GriceyKeep collecting Davo bit by bit when the car is painted it is all waiting to be reassembled. It makes it easy on the pocket also as you pay small amounts of money here and there. You don't want a fresh painted car sitting in the shed waiting for parts to arrive either. Keep doing what you are doing Davo. Sorry to shoot you down Gricey but sometimes you need to pull your head in, If you have a issue with this just come to my place I will sought you out

   | I agree with Mr Orphanage Davo. Keep collecting all the little bits as you find them..... then once you get to the point of rust repair done and paint done you will have every thing there for it to go back together in one hit. The last thing you want is to have a fresh body sitting around collecting dust and dents while waiting to find the bibs n bobs after the fact. I've been collecting bits for Donkey for 4 years, tomorrow at 1pm I pick up his last part req..... windscreen rubber. Now the piggy bank needs to go to pasture to feed for a little while - then the strip, straighten, paint, upholster and put back together begins. Hopefully there will be a new Donkey revealed at next years nationals (fingers + toes crossed) If your have a plan, even if it is "bit" of a plan. Stick to it and you can't go too far wrong. There are heaps of helpers out here as you well know. And for the sake of everyones sanity........ get this one rego'd and DRIVE IT before you (God forbid) ever consider selling it. I for one desperately want to see your bum behind the wheel of this gem, because I waited long and patiently for you to pounce it. You deserve to drive this one at least my funny Bellett brother _________________

   | thanks stickman ..but really I only let one of my ex go to interstate to woolongong ...now at the gong teardrop ....you got 2 and greg got 2 also I do share ...ok potter got a gt but that was a quicky ...I really have started to put a lot of work into this one and doing a semi strip really makes you learn the bellett ins and outs ..I have a spare little shed starting to fill up with redone kick plates ,repainted jacks ,repainted heaters , bumper brackets ,grille restored , horns redone etc etc ..ah this one is surely a journey ...and on the way I am learning much more than I did with my teardrop......I was kind of hoping that lewis would swap me for his then he can restore another 90 as he knows what to do .(ha ha ) aint that easy ...keep up your donkey work we all watch your postings hopefully when it is showcased it doesn't lose its identity ,,I know its none of my business ..but you have established its cult following ...regards davo
