Looking for one chrome wheel rim (see pic) for 67 Bellett as one came off and gone  Maybe after market or extra fitting available at purchase. Anyone know :?: I need the chrome rim as well as the 6 holding clips (see pic). Note it also has special cut for tyre valve.

gday Marvo, and welcome.
they are definitly aftermarket. Bellett's never had chrome dress rings from the factory. "standard" sedans like yours had just the chrome hub caps you already have. "deluxe" sedans had a full cover cap. rare these days. and GT's had a different full cover cap. VERY rare now!
get into autobarn, super cheap, one of those places for a some new ones. $20 should get u a set of 4 newies.
cheers.

Where would I get a set of mag wheels? Might be the way to go and look smarter and handle better.
cheers Mark

depends on whether u want new or old style? and what size? both in diameter and width... new is obvious but old will mean ebay, swap meets, etc. but remember that even tho they're 4 stud and the same pattern as Datsun, Toyota, etc, the offset is very different and alot won't fit under the guards... work out what u want and we'll set u on the rite path.

Hi Mark
For what it's worth, this is the set of mag style wheels that came on my car, and interesting enough they are from a 67-69ish Toyota Corolla, and I got the chrome trim rings on ebay.
Regards Mark

Mag wheel offsets for Bellett,
5"-5.5" wide +10 offset 6"-6.5" wide +15 offset 7" wide +25 offset 8" wide +35 offset (will fit with max 205 tyre width and slight guard massage - VERY tight fit)
Any 'FACTORY' mags off Datsun 1200, 180B ,200B, Bluebird or Stanza will fit sweet as, but Datsun 1600, 240K, 240Z, 260Z and 280Z mags will need to be a max of 6" wide (6.5" wide will be hit and miss depending on which year model), some aftermarket mags for 1600 and 240K can be as wide as 7" but the offset needs to be between +20 @ +27. Any 'AFTERMARKET' rims will need to have the offsets as above to eliminate fitment hassle, with that in mind it will also depend on the ride height of your car. If your car sits as low in the 'ass' as Donkey does atm and your running a tyre size of 205 then you'll get a bit of tyre rub on the inner arch when suspension is under full load in corners so if you stick to a 185-195 you'll be right.

Stickman & Davo, Thanks for all the advice found 4 mags 13" x 7 paid $100 for with tyres full tread but yet to see if they fit. Looks to me they are too wide for the 4 studs unless I can get longer studs to replace the originals. The depth of the wheels at the hub is around 28mm where bolt comes through. Seem to be 114.3 offset. Tyres 185/65R13 84H Any ideas? Mark

Hi Marvo
They look like Magnum Hotwires very similar to what I had on my GT The Mag nuts for these rims are a long collar type and meet the studs -- no need for longer ones
have a look on the inside of the rims it should have the offset stamped on it somewhere between 19 - 24?
Cheers Flying

Hi Flying Thanks for the response. It is great to get some help on this as I am in the dark...... Sorry but the back of each Mag is pretty dirty so where would I find the offset stamp hopefully somewhere between 19-24? If that is all good where do I get the Mag nuts for these rims with a long collar type to meet the studs? I can see that the holes are larger than normal so they would need a long collar type to work. cheers Mark

Those wheel nuts are available from Super Cheap, $15 pack of four 12x1.25 thread, will have to make sure that washers have a taper to match wheel. Have you had those hy and dry wheels on your car Davo? May need spacers. Cheers Geoff.

Davo. Geoff could be right in the pitch of the thread that he has had , but all the studs that I have got are 1.5 thread pitch. Hyundai and Toyota are same. Nissan and some Fords run 1.25. Supercheap up here only keep at the moment 1.25. Have been trying to get some for the set of mags that you gave me and I'm willing to wait. Mark. There are different depths for the wheel nuts. Make sure that they are not too short as they may "bottom out" and don't actually lock the wheel securely. And. Must use washers on that type of mag.
Dave.

Hi Dave CQ, You are right, they are 12 x 1.5, I should check my facts, Had to replace one on the caravan while away, at Christmas, and it was 1.25, and I think it has Falcon Mags on it. With all this bloody rain my brain has gone rusty. Will go back into hibernation. cheers Geoff
