Oh dear, Gary Carter's auto has failed to proceed. Well, to go backwards anyway. So if anyone has a spare Borg Warner 35 that is working, please let us know. I know, there are some Val/ Fal types on ebay, but who knows if they work. We've already pirated my spare box for a clutch a couple of years back.
Thanks in advance, Matt.

Thanks Davo, I'll contact Rod. Gary is thinking he might just do the gearbox up as full rebuild kits are available at $279. Just have to see how much the labour will be. Cheers, Matt.

Thanks OZ, thats nice to know. At least the parts are avaliable for rebuild. We should all well be over there next year, so it's a fallback plan. Rob may well need his spare as he has an auto with a rough change, I'm up there for Eastern Creek tomorrow, so I'll call on him this arvo. Gotta love a Belletty weekend! Cheers, Matt.

Hi Matt, Any luck with finding an auto box ? I got another Bellett auto box on the weekend. However this one is 'condition unknown' and has been in storage for about 10 years.I was told it was OK when stored, but might be a stretch to call it 'working ...Rod.

Hey Matt, I hope this little hiccup won't prevent Gary from coming along; his enthusiastic stories are legendary and would be sorely missed!!

Hi Rod, Gary's thinking he'll rebuild his box, kits are available for $270, but there's no great rush. I reckon he'd try a second hand one though, because he doesn't do a lot of k's. I'll let him know, Thanks.
Dave, no worries there, he's bringing the 117. Not a Bellett, but he loves that little thing. It gets attention everywhere! He will travel with us on Friday, via the scenic route.
Cheers, Matt.
