Hi as part all this work I am doing on my dads sedan.

I'm keen on a GT I have spoke to Farmer about his very rusty GT so is there anyone out there that has a damaged one lying around that they would like to part with I am prepared to look at anything.

I am after a project as I want to resurrect a GT that will probably never get back on the road due to rust or damage. So it will be heavily modified so I am not trying to offend the traditionalist but custom with the original styling.

So if you have something or know of someone please let me know.

I know its a complete long shot but if you don't ask you don't know.

Thanks

That one at Farmer's could be saved with a complete sedan floor and lower rear 1/4s? The rest fabbed?

Yeah Chris that Blue wreck you've got is a perfect car to cut up for those sections. that are hard to replicate.

Hi Guys,

I have been reviewing the photos of Matt's GT Shell (Farmer) and it is quite bad and I need a roof plain and simple or even a wreck that someone is willing to part with. I just can't give up even though I'm probably crazy but there has to be someone out there in the Bellett community who is prepared to part with these parts. I don't want an original car as I am dead set keen on this custom project for something different.

Please feel free to discuss what you have and we can go from there.

Thanks
Jeff

Some of you may have noticed I have been looking for a GT shell or parts car to fix Matt's car, I've tried Japan but no luck as yet.

I have been asking on all the sites on Facebook to see if anyone outside the forum may know of one so please let me know if you here of anything. I will look at what ever is on offer. I know I might be dreaming but there has to be one out there.

I am keen on building a modified car so not keen on ruining an original car if possible but like I said will look at anything even if some one has cut one up and stashed it in the shed for parts. If I could just get a better roof, then Matt's car is repairable (Just).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

In short, there is rust in some important structural areas. Its not a restoration prospect, because there would have to be a better one somewhere. Looking back over for sale posts, there have been a few for only a few grand.
But it may work for what Jeff is planning. I see a lot of money being needed though.

Cheers, Matt.

Dave, those antennas were available from accessory shops... may have to order in perhaps. Places like Autobarn.

Davo. When brother Joe and I removed the steering wheel from off of this car we were picking up parts of the wheel
under neath it. As the wheel was exposed to all the weather elements it dried out and started to splinter and drop down
through the floor. To answer your :?: regarding accelerator pedal. There isn't 1. No floor to mount it 2. And if there was......
it would probably end up on the ground underneath. :? Try ebay if you don't get any luck with Autobarn etc.
The aerial. Matt has himself got first dibbs on it. He has another GT and when all of the projects are finished and the kids have left home he may find time to do it as a project. That's if he doesn't buy more. With the teardrop gone to SA. leaves a bit of space in the yard. There was a ebay bloke that specificaly sold aerials. Don't know if he still does.

Sorry Jeff. Hijacked your Post.

Dave.
