Hi All,

I am looking for somebody who has a sedan rear parcel shelf that is beyond use, but the speaker section is ok.

I just want the oval speaker slotted section and about 20mm or so around it.

Glenn, I will check the rusty wrecks on the weekend. Working during daylight hours tomorrow. (For a change!)
Surely one will be ok!
:) Matt.

Thanks Matt, appreciate the help. I want to fit a modern radio semi-hidden, and the best place for speakers is in the back as i don't want to cut door panels etc.

I'll check the spare parcel shelves I have but I think they all have perished grills from sun damage ??
Will double check and get back to you on that one.

Problem is they have become brittle and grill section has fallen apart.
I will be back out at my brothers tomorrow so will have a dig around in my container up the back paddock and see what I can find. There might be one intact buried in there somewhere.

I made a false panel out of MDF to go over the rear shelf. Covered it with carpet (thin) and mounted a speaker
cover onto it. Looks like a GT rear parcel shelf. The speaker cover I used was out of a Hyundai. Can't remember which model. If you don't do any good with Sticky's, I'll try and post a pic.

Dave.

Dave.

Thanks for the info. I did exact same thing many years ago on my 1st teardrop..... but for the Sport i want it to look as much original as possible, albeit with some modern touches not too visible.
