Hey man, the Isuzu MSG 5-speed gearbox out of the Aussie Gemini does nto bolt up to the Bellett, however the Isuzu MSG 5-speed box out of the PF50/PF60/Isuzu 117 DOHC apparently does. Also, I think there's a Diesel Rodeo box that bolts up; don't quote me on it but my DOHC 117-powered Bellett GT has a 5-speed box with a push-down reverse - certainly not a Gemini box, but it seems to fit! Cheers, Dave |

as dave said, rodeo diesel box is a bolt on, but the ratios are terrible. use a gemini 5 speed (same ratios as a GT) with a rodeo diesel box front casing. they are a straight swap. best of all is a genuine twin cam 5 speed. close ratio, and bolt on. cheers. |

use std gemini 1600 pistons and rods. the 1500 block will bore that far, and are a much better rod. most of the "race" bellett engines use this arrangement. ohh, and that takes the '1500' from 1471cc to 1584cc. |
