Hey Davo, I was going to let him tell the story, don't wanna steal his thunder, but I didn't realise he wasn't on here.
Perhaps he will be at CARnivale & I can talk him into joining. There are still a lot of people my vintage that just don't touch (or even own) computers!

Cheers, Matt.

ok ok ok...

if there really was 3 cars worth of parts going with the Florian, even though the Dash Mat (dash repair) was glued on etct etc etc, i have to concede that it may have been a fair price.
i just know from past experience that photos in themselves dont say the whole story and what ones man's real tidy, well looked after, one owner, is another man's 5 year project ! ! !

do hope the new owner enjoys his car. needs to get the GT on the road as well

:)

:)

Yep, so thats the story. I also had a good talk to Alan at CARnivale. He isn't on here yet, but I've recommended the site to him & he may have more time to check it out & to work on cars as he's about to retire. He is a nice fella and is on his way to Melbourne to collect the Florian as we speak.
He needed an Isuzu to bring to events like Saturday's, and the GT is a ways off aparently.
This should be a comparatively easy tidy-up.

Talking to the seller, he explained that he is getting older & its difficult (impossible) to work on cars anymore. I saw the Gumtree pics too, and yeah, the interior needs work. Perhaps there are interior bits there, but he was just unable to fit them. Hopefully.

I'll look forward to checking it (and the bits ;) )out. :D

Chers, Matt.

Sorry Dave, I can't get to Goo Noo Blas, I'm busy that day.
Shame, 'cause I'd like to see the Sylvia in the metal if hes in that, or if the Florian is up for the trip, even better.
Next time.

Yep, Rhys is 5' 10" = 175cm, but he is 14 now. Matched my height on his 13th birthday!
And yeah, TOP weekend!
Cheers, Matt.
