Hey guys,

I just found pics of this factory black, 1965-ish LHD Bellett!!!

The advert says it was last updated on 22/07/13, so fairly recently, although the advert now says, "NOT FOR SALE".

It appears to have an early, 1964-spec grille badge but is lacking the spears on the 1500 badge.

The text on the advert says:

Notes
Ensimmäisiä Suomeen tuotuja Bellettejä. Mielenkiintoinen historia. Ajettu viimeksi n. 15 vuotta sitten. Säilytetty lämpimässä. 50-vuotissynttärit ensi vuonna. Myydään vain hyvään kotiin, ei jobbareille! Lisätiedot auton omistajalta vain puhelimitse: Jukka Leino 0445232270. Soita, tule katsomaan ja anna tarjouksesi.

Which seems to say:
The first imported to Finland Bellett. An interesting history. Last driven about 15 years ago. Stored at warmer temperatures. 50th birthday next year. Sold only to a good home, not jobbareille! Additional car owner only by phone: Jukka Leino 0445232270. Call, come take a look and give your offer.

I don't know if this means it's "the actual first" one sold or if that's a mis-translation. But man, it looks pretty good, especially in black!

That bumper sticker on the bumper is pretty awesome too!

No price though; given it's now 'not for sale', I do wonder what amount it went for?

You're right there Davo; bumpers are correct but the overriders are wrong.

I like the old-school over riders better; much slimmer and nicer! If it was mine, I would put the correct overriders on it, and some hubcaps and cruise!!!

Thanks Dave. Amazing if it is the actual first car sold in Finland. One of our members would probably know - they've kept good records I think.
I wonder what the Chassis number is to compare to Gary's?

Cheers, Matt.

Davo, the grille badge looks black, but yeah, no 1500 spear. No interior shot, so can't check the door release handles - they are curved in the '64s. Original door trims were different too, with a gathered top to the map pockets. (Gary's still has these.)
Cheers, Matt.
