So what's it going to go for and to whom ?
Will it be restored or parted out?
Looks too complete to be a parts car.

Cheers

the car has been looked over by a Forum Member and quite a bit of stuff missing, rear lights, chrome front light trims, seat in front not original, all door rubbers removed???? , fitting pieces missing too.

hard to say whats its worth, guess eBay will set the bench mark.

Dave from north qld posted us a pick of the well prepared north qld gt with the snorkle. Little did we know how handy the snorkle would have been. Thanks Dave

Gee if I had enough $$$ at my disposal, and somewhere to store all that has been available, we could keep many of this going to the scrap heap !!!

Hey guys,

Sorry to keep you all hanging but the new home for this one is the Garage of Awesome here in Adelaide :) I haven't seen the car yet but for that money I couldn't refuse! I went to pick it up last weekend and there was a Datto 1600 with no front cross member blocking the drive so I couldn't get to it but maybe next weekend and I'll post some pics.

I have another tear drop in my yard that is probably going to the crushers to make room for this one but I'll keep everyone posted and list the shell on here before disposing of it.

Doe's anyone need any hanging panels or any other parts? I might even be tossing this motor (or another) if anyone is looking for parts?

Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted!

Cheers,
R.

Good job there dohchchchc
would like to know what other stuff is going out as my Wasp is in need of a motor of that series.
If i didnt have a road trip planned i would have given it a better go myself!!
Am sure you could make a good car from 2 if that body is straight and reasonably rust free

Cheers

Post subject:  Re: flee bay SA

Finally picked this one up on Saturday and not only did it start first time but the brakes are mostly working... I was stunned, a Bellett with brakes? Even my Blue '68 didn't stop when I picked that up and it had been under cover most of it's life.

Unfortunately either compression is down or the ignition components are shot as it wouldn't pull hard enough to drive onto the trailer, that would have been too good!

Anyway, this shell is better than the other shell I have which was quickly snapped up by RobSA so he'll have another project to work on there!

The car is mostly complete although there are no back seats and the front seats aren't Bellett seats (don't know what they are). It will be entertaining sorting through the accumulated rubbish in the boot including indicators, door trims, rubbers, and what appears to be half a tool box...

Oh, and it came with a complementary ant's nest under the dash board. What more could I ask for?

Cheers,
R.
