i reckon most of the stuff was there. maybe a few nuts and bolts that can't be accounted for. has been in the family from about 2-3 years old when the lady of the house purchased it. she dont want to sell so that is why the price is high. has been garaged or car ported all its life. cant vouch for any mechanicals as it hasnt been in rego since 1999 and motor not a runner. bloke thinks it will need a full engine re-build! could come up alright with some TLC and tickering...

Perhaps I'm swimming against the tide here, but I reckon 3 grand aint too bad. If those seats are as good as the door trims (etc) - There's $1,000 worth; The chrome is all good - bumper re-chromes are about $300 ea; If the exhaust is OK, there's $400; Looks dent free & what would you pay for that paintwork? $5,000+ Sounding like not bad value compared to a full-on project. And then there's the time......... Buy this, pull the donk, bore to 1600 & fit Gemini bits for what? - $1500? A few bits & pieces & you're on the road for $5k. I reckon that's acceptable! But you've gotta want an auto................. or while the donks out, fit a clutch pedal - not impossible. (I've got a cheap gearbox) Cheers, Matt.

i would possibly go to 1500 after hearing more about it, but i am a little bit on the frugal side! body and interior do look pretty nice, but alot of unknowns in the brakes and trans (although i reckon the trans would be fine) either way i hope someone gets it and treasures it, and we hear more of it here!

I'd pay 3K for it, if it were local and if I had 3K to spend.

ok ok ok guess its time to fess up!!! the auto has just arrived safely home, 730pm tonight in the wind and rain etc, and is tucked away till i have some time to check some things further. managed to get it for less than 2K and the boss at home suggested i buy it. will post some more photos as progress is happening. radiator is going straight in for tank removal and rod cleaning, and new water pump is on its way. hope the motor comes up ok. it has 48,000 on the clock, reckon it hasnt been around once as everything opens and closes and work so nicely. think i need some more garage space.....
