Lot of watchers here but no comments... perhaps people are a little shellshocked it's being turned over so quickly but as you said, personal reasons so obviously things have changed and it now needs another good home!

So... anyone interested in a older-restoration, regularly-used Bellett GT that never failed Peter (Goldy) and I'm sure has behaved for Gunna? It's not a concourse car, but if you, say, lived in Darwin, you could probably just drive it back there, no problems!!!

Good luck with the sale Dean!!

Cheers,

Dave

Yeah Dave.....would be an interesting pigeon pair for me, and very desirable........but like a good dream, lots of desire, and not a reality unfortunately.

A great score for whoever buys Goldie ;) Good luck Gunna, and sorry to hear she has to go.

B.

Thx for the comments guys.

For Queensland rego it needs a blue plate for the bucket seats and the ZZR box.

It's a thing I don't have time to deal with ATM.

Live and learn.

It'll be parked under cover until it goes.

Without being specific, In general, are there issues in rego with modifications in QLD??

Not a big issue Glenn we call them blue plates. They are a blue modification plate with a prefix like eg K1 it come with paperwork that needs to be carried with the car to verify the modifications. So if we are pulled up and the police think the car is not standard they will ask if the car has a blue plate this is attached to the car body in most cases in the engine bay. This will have the code stamped for the mod as above if the cops don't know what the code is or is unsure of more mods than the plates says than they ask for the paperwork.
Liz had a smart ass cop one day asking for her mod plate Walter has nod mods  He asked her to pop the bonnet and she did he spent a while trying to lift it the wrong way  Liz explained it was in standard form except the magsater a while he let her go.
Mod plates are fitted when the authorised mechanic has approved the mod is safe and legal. Years ago it was done by transport department.

It is with regret that Goldie is back on the market along with her "BELLLETT" plates.

Life will be a little topsy turvy over the next few years and I just need to focus on other things.

I'll still check in on all things bellett.net but just from the sideline.

If your seriously considering buying Goldie or the plates or both please text me on 0402327383 and ill get back to you straight away.

sorry to hear that Dean.

Maybe a little more time to rethink? Can't beat driving a Bellett with others in a club etc.
