The boys at work here have been wanting me to drop Ford Windsor motor into the black Wasp. Now that they have seen this, the pressure is on.
I think maybe an all alloy Lexus quad cam maybe.....

The Lexus would look nice. Not sure if it fits. The Commodore V6 seems like a natural fit though as they are cheap, plenty about, good torque etc. And been done before. Possibly less engineering hassles too?

Yeah.......it does appear to have a little starboard list! Perhaps its had a chubby driver! Easy fix, just put a bit of a load in the back over the left side!
I can think of better ways to spend 16 grand, but there is a lot of work done. Just needs finishing.
Cheers, Matt.

Always good to have a laugh Redback.

Reckon this would fit nice and snug though.

I just found out the other day that a mate of mine has been storing a KB20 ute for his sons friend for the last 6yrs.
It has a 308 and trimatic in it (blue plated for QLD rego) and he wants it out of his yard. Apparently the young bloke can't afford to finish it off so it has been sitting in the weather collecting rust.
I might have to pay Hoppy a visit over the weekend and check it out......

Wll there you go, it seems Aunty Mary has hed a Luv radiator all along. Thats why the fan is so far from the radiator. I put a plastic fan on, cause the steel one looked all exposed!
So it will fit! :D

Cheers, Matt.
