I can't remember if anyone has slammed this beasty on the forum yet, but check it out! Price is "domestic only" but assuming there are no legal issues in getting it out of the country, someone like Iron Chef Imports or Import Monster could get it outta there! This thing is truly the GT you have when you're not having a GT! Got the sick GT wheelcovers, nice 1600cc engine and the blue window tinting. I don't mind the "mask front" for something different and I don't mind the 2-door sedan for something different... Attachment:

Way cool Dave. Now wouldn't that be a nice exclusive at the nats? "Mask front" - Good description!
But those taillights. I can't love 'em. They're bigger than the car! That's the '70's I suppose!
Pretty nice background scene too! Cheers, Matt.

It looks like GooNet has set up to act as a purchasing agent for foreign buyers on their English language page. For a 17 1/2 % fee. The prices on the English page don't correspond to the prices on the Japanese page, even with the lopsided exchange rate, without someone taking 17 1/2 %.
The Sport is priced at 880000 Yen on the regular page. And everything Eagle has listed is marked as Domestic Only.

You could EASILY spend that much money on a car in Australia and end up with a car that is only half as good and a lot less desirable. KB

Interestingly enough what I noticed about this Japanese spec Bellett, like the PR10 it also does not have any front dash vents (had to get my glasses on to see it) , has the same seats with headrests, and the same Bellett floormats ... Mark

2 early 117's and a late model silver Florian in the first pic.
The exchange rate is getting there, time to start perusing Takey's and Goo.net again! This Sport has been for sale for some months now too, so either it's hiding something, or it's too expensive for the locals?

Oh yeah I wasn't sure if it was a Sport; I just saw the GT hubbies and went on a wild assumption. I see it doesn't have any of the other Sport goodies (aka GT goodies, really).
Nice spot BellettPR10 on the lack of eyeball vents! Freakshow (no offence... it's meant in a good way).
Perhaps if I sold a couple of cars... and the parts I amassed to restore the GT....
Hmmmm...
Hey Farmer, yeah 'mask front' is what the locals call them, well according to Google translate anyway!
Cheers,
Dave
