Hi, I am the buyer of both the Penrith & Woodburn Belletts. Yes ,I'm a Valiant nut ,but I am new to these little Bellett gems. I Searched for one for ages for one after seeing them at the big Eastern Creek car show .Was actually after a 4 speed, but then Woodburn '67 auto came up,and couldn't pass up on the '64 / '65 model 'teardrop' only 5 minutes away from me ! Seems hard to find a real good one around,I guess most that are restored get kept ? Also saw another post where you might have receipts for the motor rebuild on the '67 ? Cheers,Rod.

Ah, well bought Rod. Great to have another keen owner in our midst. I'm glad you've let us know, and please post pics of your cars as you play with them.
Please look at the Bellett Nationals thread & consider if you are able to attend, even if you can't bring a Bellett, you can come in a modern (better still a Val) and put faces to names. Many good contacts to be made.
Cheers, Matt

Thanks guys !, I will try to make the Bellett nationals. It would be great to check them all out,and ask a thousand questions,as I am still trying to work out whats original ,and whats been changed on both the cars,& correct trim colours, etc. I think the Woodburn '67 is supposed to be originally a red trim car (red vinyl inside over the wheel arches) ,but has a black passenger seat and rear seat, red driver seat ,and blue door trims - a mixed bag! Am also after a few missing bits ,so will have to post a wanted ad once I get a list together. Thanks for the info on the motor receipt too Davo,I will contact them & ask, cheers,Rod.
