That is a pretty nice car for around $6500 Australian Dollars, would be around $10000 to $11000 in the the back shed, good buying, and the fact that it has been in storage in NZ for 17 years would not worry him if were there another month while being screwed around getting import papers in order from Canberra. no problems getting it out of NZ. Be here in a week Looks GOOD

Looks very nice indeed.
Main thing i worry about is windscreens...
there are quite a few in japan for sale but many appear to have rust in rear quarters and area unknown to me as not familiar with them. I like the air con etc in them also.

i reckon it has been stored and looked after very well in its previous owners and locations as rust appears to be very minimal. compared to the local drive around adelaide, which is also an auto, it would cost less than repairing the rust in the local car.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

In my opinion, that car would be a bargain, and if I did not have the GT project on the go, I would be after it.

Cracked me up seeing that plate - "Carters" Same colour, same upholstery, same motor as Gary Carters, but with injection. 1 year newer. I showed him - What are the chances of the name Carter being associated with 2 red 117s?? Go for it, they sit loooow & firm. Steer pretty well too. And EVERYBODY says, "I've never seen one of those before!" Gary luvs his, poor little bellett stays home a bit now. Cheers, Matt.

Process of shipping from NZ is very simple really, other than the delay in getting import approval from our government.
If it was in South island, any buyer could have shared a container wih me shortly........
117's regularly go through Auction Houses in Japan also.....a lot more regular than Bellett's. In fact 2 have gone through auction houses in the last 5 days - 1 in Saitama and 1 in Shizuoka - both didn't sell!
