Hi all, Yes, as we were close I had to have a look. As Davo says, the car is pretty much all there. It is a model year '65 (White grille badge) floor change. The rust mentioned in the rear guard is large bubbles, but not a hole. I couldn't see the left sill, but the right side one was fine. There are bubbles in the boot channel corners, but overall not too bad. It does want attending to soon though. Paint is sound in places, but needs plenty of touch-ups. Dash is good, incl ashtray(!), but the remaining interior needs resto. Motor is a mystery, but this is a coastal area and it's stood a long time. Just about all the chrome is rusted or pitted. The front bumper is bent. The tyres are cactus.
Gary is a nice fella, and this car was his Dad's. They've saved it for a long time. He thought it might have been worth more than I think it is. He would like to see a Bellett enthusiast have it, but I can't afford this one. PM me for any more details,
Cheers, Matt.
