i gave him samples to see if he could make them and he told me last time we spoke that some were on the way :?: i have not seen them myself yet but i wonder if the photos are of the exact item, phil tells me they are the same as the samples so the insert should be in them. he wants a sample of the sedan also.

Hi Guys,
This is a little off track, but still windscreen related.
I am chasing up a new screen for the Wasp, and can have them ordered in. Obviousely it will be cheaper per unit I we can order more than one, so i was just wondering if anyone else is interested in placing an order ?
It will cost me about $280 ( probably plus postage ) for one, and he will quote me on a larger order if we can get some numbers.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
Thanks.

The Vic club was looking into getting more screens (sedan and GT) made I think.
Not sure if there was any response though, for it to go ahead.

I assume the Wasp would equate with the early sedan screens.

Your quoted cost sounds pretty good for one off. Where would they be obtained through ?

The last Club screens came out of Asia via a QLD 'supplier'.

Probably the same supplier. It is a Qld company that have moved manufacture off shore, not sure where.
The front screen in my Wasp is one of theirs, thats how I got onto them, and yes I beleive (hope) they are the same as early Belletts.

Ah, good to know. There will probably be a few buyers once we know it all works. Me included.
We want them to be glad they bothered having them made! ;) Peviously they were very hard to find.
Please lets know once they're fitted up.
Cheers. Matt.

Hi Stickman,
Yes you are right, they are the same. I have passed on the details to GT Orph of the supplier, as I have had a budget blowout and will reuse my old screen for now.
Cheers.

Thought they were,
I know all about the budget blowouts. Mine is very tight as only averaging a couple of days work a week atm. Next two n half weeks are full which is good. Just in time for dot to dot trip to nationals.
I'll chat with Greg re screens.

Cheers mate
