just a quick note to everyone to ask...

R U ok on Are You OK day?

Hope your taking that extra minute or so out of your busy day just to say hi to someone or listen for the bit extra time.

enjoy your family and friends because we dont know when we will see them again

talk to someone if things are becoming too much and your overwhelmed.

good mental health is its own best reward.

cheers

OZ

i think its a great idea, but dont limit it to one day a year! you never know when someone just needs a friendly ear.

I'm OK, thanks for asking.
I'll remember to ask others.

We all have times when things get to us, & I'm no different. I remember being advised at these times to count my blessings. I only get to 3 and don't have to go any further - Trace, Rhys, Milli..................yep, OK.

Then I walk outside & see the BELLETTS. (And FLORIAN).... Better than OK!! :D

Been watching the Paralympics. So many stories of people who got back up. Thats good stuff.

Enjoy every day.
Go for a little run in your old car.

Cheers, Matt. :)

The RUOK movement is especially relevant given the loss of Ken Bloor a couple of years ago.

His sudden loss was a timely reminder that no matter how enthusiastic and gregarious in nature someone may appear, there may be turmoil inside.

Also, happy birthday for next week, BULLITT!

Happy birthday in advance !!

reminds me....... how many coming from SA way ?

you will be passing my house, which is only 3km off the highway to Merimbula. At this stage we will probably leave early friday morning. I wonder also what the Vics are planning for the trip and times.

CORRECTION HOMEBOYS!!!!!

Dave, 2ldohc Ross, Antus and Bellett.boys Paul will all be making the journey over.

Accommodation booked, deposit paid for, leave organised.

Our tentative thoughts are to head off on Wednesday and stay somewhere, then get from wherever we are to Farmer's on Thursday. We'll ditch any tow cars and drive the rest of the way in our machines.

As it stands, I'm bringing a Bellett, Ross sounds like he's actually bringing his Prince Skyline GTB (I know it's the BELLETT Nationals, but hey, Prince Skyline!) and Antus may just drive his regular daily.

Paul is HARDCORE as always and is planning on driving his Bellett GT the whole way. He's keen to tack on the extra day to go via Farmer's place and to tax the cars a bit less, although currently his needs the head off.

Of COURSE that would happen now!!

We are all REALLY excited; after bailing last year (my son was just born and that kinda created a domino effect amongst Ant, Ross and Paul) we're definitely keen to get there this year, plus we will need to have some kind of information for Bellett Nationals 2013 - Belletts to Birdwood!

Cheers,

Dave

Maaaaaate! You reckon I'm excited?? I'M EXCITED :!:
Fantastic to be an assembly point for the last leg of the dot to dot with those from the north and those from the west.
Hmmm, 120m driveway ......4m per car.....2m gap..... 120/6=.....somewhere about 20 cars.
Should do it easy!!

Glenn, I'm north of Yass, NSW. Our western friends will probably cross the Hay plain, almost directly east from Adelaide. We're thinking to go south via Tumut & across the Snowys for the max scenery & twisty roads. A bit further than the Canberra corridor, but less traffic & way more interest.

More details will be in the 'Dots n dashes road trip' thread.

Better get & polish Doris.

Very Cheers, Matt.
