CAN ANYONE ASSIST ME WITH A GOOD SECOND HAND OR NEW GRILLE BADGE FOR THE 1968 GT OR GTR.
The badge simply is for the grille and is only the 2 letters "GT". Mine is getting a bit second hand I would like to replace it if possible. HELP Please!!

-68 GT and GTR have different kind of grille "GT". -68 has metal badge and GTR has a plastic one. They also look different. Those new plastic GT badges were sold out from Japan about 1985 but there has been new 1600GT badges and if you cut of the "1600", you get a perfect "GT" for the grille. I never got new metal badges from Japan.

Thanks Aanti, I still have to find the other badge to remove the 1600 side. The GT I have is officially known in Australia as the 1968 1/2 model. I would just like to have a better example of the grille emblem.
