Yeah the mind boggles why they made minor design changes on the same engine block

Not up to much...threw my white walls in the bin and bought some new 175/40's, the car rides a treat now. Still using daily, rust is coming out of it a tad and the motor's a little tired, but hanging in there. Every day is a pleasure. 8-)

Great to read about everyone getting on with it. Didn't think people were lying down

And here's my spin on things. 2013 is shaping up to be bigger than Ben Hur !! On a personal note, not only are we all celebrating 50 years of Belletts, with marquie status at the Bay to Birdwood on Nationals weekend, thanks to the dedicated majic of Dave is SA. But also my 50th (thankyou gentlemen) and my 25 years service award for a certain establishment.

This was overshadowed yesterday by an outing to Clare (about 200km round trip), in which several Bellett'n Brothers from Adelaide helped retrieved the shell of a PR90 for Claws, who is now both wrapped and dawnted at the task ahead. Some of us did the trip in our funky little machines. Sorry you couldn't get a Bellett going OZ, but you were instead the camera man. Dwane you were missed, and also Ross who couldn't make it. Go to EVENTS SA for further fun and details.

Little Blue Beastie continues to be a giant slayer, and just sooths that nerve every time I take her out. Lots of minor things to look at. One is that pesky leek of the gearbox oil. Ross helped refill it, this time with SAE 30. Not only is it the original recommended oil, but also a fraction of the price of 70w 80. The amazing thing is JT191 you are right !! Farmer, that was your recommendation too!! SAE30, not a whisper out of the box now and Sincro wants to happen in both 1st and reverse.

I'm hoping our Bellett'n Broth's from up north have escaped the big wet without too much grief??

Greg, what we all really want to know is how Lizzies progress is? Looking forward to seeing everyone in September. Again, IT'S GONNA BE BIG  Keep it happening boys and girls 8-) 8-)

Well gt too she is wheel chair bound for another 6 weeks before another decission is made. I am not prepared to ask how she is today cause i was heading out today to pick up a few little hardware supplies ;) ;) When bugger me dead i might come for a drive  say's.The first stop was the machine shop to get a few modified bits for the race car :) Lizzie was ok with this :D then down to the motorsport shop well she was in the shop quicker than i was man she's getting quick on them wheels  This was a awkward moment i picked up the bits i needed and mmm a few i didn't  Then to a mates workshop to pay for a new set of custom built extractors and intake manifolds [ the secret here was to park a little way down the road and as Lizzie knows i would talk for a while she said it was best she waited in the car  ] next was to get some bits as i have two incomplete webers so i poped into the shop to order the bits  the price  it was just as cheap to buy a pair of new ones :o I made a couple of phone calls and we were off again to another destination ;) i dont think Lizzie is conviced that the 2 new webers were free
So if you want to know how she is feeling you ask her :(

Excuse me please Mr Orphanage (my hand is in the air as I ask the teacher my question) I was wondering about extractor plates, I know you had some made up for GT and Sedan, was it the sedan ones or the GT ones that weren't quite right and needed a slight modification? (as I was informed at Merimbula)
If they are all sorted and you do by chance have a sedan one available, Donkey and I will give you a gift voucher for 3 free foot rubs for one...... and/or cash if you prefer

Hey Greg, progress is what I asked for, and you have said enough. How Lizzie is feeling I will not ask, as it is damn insensitive of me  But what i do get is she is getting out and has your incredible support. You guys are rocks and working through stuff which is unimanginably tuff.

B.
