Very nice dash on it, but every bit as hard as removing a Bellett dash!
A bit strange this one, they put the engine and gearbox (G161) up on Ebay on which Oz_toffa Jumped on it.
They were considering selling the whole thing but a bit Late as Oz had organised to pick up the engine
+ the front bumper panel and bumper (Now on my Luv) and some other bits.
would have been nice in hind sight to get the whole thing but didnt work out that way
Sunraysias are a dime a dozen and breach historic reg. here in SA

There are quite a few advertised at the moment:

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/bathurst ... 1059779697

Near Farmer, a 72, G161

The one Retroasted is showing is on Rusty Wrecks on Facebook (has come down from $999......keep going)

Not sure of age but is also a G161.

AND there is one here in SA, a 76, G161z.

So no shortage.

Josh

Yes Glenn - but I think the outlet is facing the wrong way (down instead of up) - the number doesn't match what I have here as well....

It was only bored out 30 thou' - and it is still running strong after 10 years (2004 that is how old that photo is) - so I must have done something right.

Cheers.

i am still trying to find a plant in China that will make me some water pumps at a reasonable price and less than MOQ of 500 units.
may not be quite as good as original Isuzu one's or maybe even GMB one's, but still something we are all needing sooner or later.
my last pumps came from NZ and water pump warehouse in the US which is now closed down!@#$%^*()(*&^%$#

will keep you all advised of progress.

what paint did you use? High temp paint in colours in a can is very hard to get these days..... and expensive

I am sure it was the VHT rattle can red - I used the same height temp primer which made all the difference in keeping it on the block for all these years. Still looks great now.
