Just had a master cylinder and 2 rear wheel cylinders done up. Sleeved and re-kitted. He had to soak the rear cylinders for 3 days as the pistons had locked up. Not surprised really. I put it down to the brake fluid absorbing the H20 from out of the atmosphere and the length of time since manufacture. Once a bottle of brake fluid is opened and some of the contents are used, don't put it in the boot as a JIC. (Just In Case). Buy a new bottle as a spare. Dispose the used 1 carefully. Nissan and Hyundai schedule the brake fluid to be changed at least every 2 years or 40000 or 35000 respectivly.
  Dave.

Yep Dave, I change the Sube brake fluid every 100 000 wheater it needs it or not! Probably due to flush Doris' through again. Gets rid of that moistue soaked stuff which can ruin yout cylinders. Cheers, Matt.
