the kb mounts that gtorphanage is describing sound like the ones posted earlier, in the pics, without the 'hook and tab' on the top section.
these are the ones i used in my Wasp years ago.
pics are a good idea too.

I will post some before and after mod picks.
Brett is correct the same as the photo earlier in this post one hole is out that needed to be drilled the rest was a trim with a cut off wheel in a grinder. The mouts sit 30 mm taller then the old ones however i do not know how tall it would have been new as the one i am using is not healthy.
I have internet issues at the moment when it is soughted out i will post a couple of picks.

I'm waiting on the molds for the suspension bushings and thought I would work on the engine mounts.

I narrowly missed out on a set of new-old-stock Bellett engine mounts to pattern from. I suspect the 40 year old mounts will have flattened some if they did not rot in two or tear in half. I wanted a measurement of thickness and the durometer (hardness) of the rubber.

I obtained an aftermarket Chevy LUV mount to look at.
Is the Bellett engine mount the same thickness as the LUV engine mount?
Is the rubber hardness between the two the same? Has anyone using the LUV mounts noticed an increase or decrease in vibration versus the Bellett mounts (when they were in good condition if you can remember)?

For lack of anything exact, I would probably do 65 durometer for a street performance mount, and 85 durometer for a race mount.

I got a set of these a couple of months ago (were slightly cheaper then I could get a one off set done locally)
Price has gone up a little since but that's to be expected as their supply gets lower
Get em while ya can I always say ;)
