Here is the link http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252497572296 ... EBIDX%3AITThe owner is Ray, he is the guy that I bought the really rusty teardrop off 18mths ago for the engine that is now in Donkey. He won't sell it for any less than he feels it's worth, and fair enough as it is his ute It's reasonably solid but the sills are shot and floors are not far behind. Doors are not too bad but pretty banged up It has no bumper or passenger side headlight surround, motor is supposedly running but if the "fully rebuilt motor" I bought the teardrop for is anything to go by than I would put at least 4?'s beside that statement (The tear drop motor had definitely been rebuilt however the head was badly cracked due to wrong thermostat housing bolts being used) Interior is none existent as the pics show and has no tray other than the rotten remnants of the orig timber one. A project indeed! Possibly a parts car but would be a shame not to see it put back on the road at some point. Ray reckons he'll keep it if he doesn't get the money he wants and will have a crack at restoring it himself but the poor bugger has major neuropathy in his legs and feet after an electrocution accident at work years ago. Destroyed all the nerves in his legs and is in constant agony and can barely walk. Not to mention the other 4 or 5 unfinished projects he had in the back sheds that hadn't been touched for years. Guess we'll see if it sells on Monday night or if Ray puts it out back again where it may sit for yrs again. You can guarantee though that living on the salty flats of the Bundy flood plains will not be kind to it for too many more years.

And I'll be driving home from Dubbo with my new one Ray is a great guy to chat with, and a SUPER nice guy. Just a pity his health doesn't allow him to play with cars the way he use to. He has some cracker project cars up there.

.....and reserve not met! Its making Shrek look like a real bargain! Shrek may be really krusty, and just a bit rusty, but I drove him home, well halfway home, (his radiator was blocked and he kept getting hot, so I trailered him the second half for safety) and his brakes, lights and everything else worked. He was devoid of any door trims, bailey channel rubber, door seals, and his dash was roached, so he was very noisy, but at least he went. And he had some padding and vinyl on his seat. Notice I say 'was'. Thats because his interior has had something of a tidy up. I'm old, so need some degree of comfort if I am going to drive further than into the village. Must take a few pics and add to his thread..... Good luck to whoever is bidding. Too far away from me, and 4 should be enough anyway.........until I find a styleside!Cheers, Matt.
