Hey all, It looks like we have been dubbed as SA Team 2 which consists of Paul, Antus, Mark and myself... that means Dave and Bruno are Team 3 for the weekend trailing along behind us We've made it to Moama safely through the torrential rain and are having a quiet beer or two... or three... in preparation for the weekend frivolity and the Hoe down? So far we've had a few drama's along the way but mostly with the weather and the straps on our ratter... snapping straps and getting drenched, it's been a hell of a day and thanks heaps to Paul, Ant and Mark who although he doesn't have a Bellett is along for the ride and loving talking Belletts! Looking forward to hitting Albury at 12 tomorrow.. is there a cruise happening? Hope we can hook up with everyone for that Cheers, Ross. PS The blue Bellett is still for sale and I'm thinking that it is going to be a Shitbox for Shitbox auction... Any offers and anything that I make on that car will be donated to Cancer Council through my Shitbox efforts. Please come and see me when we get there if you're interested and we can have a chat

OK so Ross is too nice a guy to explain what really has been going down.....
Arrived Moama after sundown - glad to at last turn off the windscreen wipers that were starting to drive me crazy. Plus have had enough aquaplaning for one day. Chasing and catching some very dark clouds all the way from Adelaide.
Dinner at the local pub turned into a double date on table 69, and we're not kidding around here. Window seats, balloons, streamers and confused/bewildered locals. Ross's pork belly looked good. The staff knew we were out-of-towners and thought nothing of trying to fleece us over $60 for 4 beers... WTF? Bartender's logic was that whilst that wasn't right, it was there on her screen so she'd charge us as such. She said something about jugs but it didn't make sense to us.
Next came the onslaught in the drive through. Needed a couple of slabs, so Ant helps himself to the coolroom. The lack of price tickets, plus a myriad of papers and kegs strewn all about and the manager's mistress on ice in the corner failed to alert him to the fact that it was staff access only. What the heck, he grabbed 2 cases and wandered out to the front counter while the manager quietly freaked out. All good though as we managed to turn the tables on the establishment and walked out with 4 JD stubbie holders for our troubles.
All that and it's only day 1 of our trip.
Awesome.

That's a trailer tipper (I don't know what they officially call them though) You park your trailer on it (disconnect it from you car) and it picks it up and scrapes all the crap out then plonks it back on the ground for you to hook up again and drive away.

Nice try but first hint... it functions the other way around from what you describe.
