Hi Guys, I am in need of a choke cable for the Wasp. Would anyone happen to have a spare they could part with ? Thanks

Hi All. Sedan and Wasp are the same cable. Referring to my parts book there was a revised cable in 1966-'66.5. By all accounts they should all fit each other.
Dave.

Thanks Sticky and Dave. Ferel Kev has done a repair job on my old one, it is working now, but is very stiff. Not sure how long it will last. Sticky if you have a good one, and are willing to part with it, maybe I could get it from you at the Nationals and swap it over after that. I will hope the repair holds good until then. Thanks, Warren

Hey Sticky, any chance I could get that choke cable off you sooner? The repair failed already.

Good onya Stickman! I have a few assorted bodgy cables, but no spare genuine ones. I had a couple once, but gave one away and put one in Shrek. Its surprising how many cars come with broken ones. Cheers, Matt.

True that Matt Donkey has a dodgy after market one that makes a great coffee mug hook for roadtrips 2 of my other parts teardrops have busted ones My 68 rust free rolling shell has a pretty good one (going to Warren) Haven't checked the other 2 sedans yet but I think the 69 one was ok too but I think it has been modified for a Gemini with weber setup. Haven't check the Wasps either but I assume the Dubbo one will be as fine as the rest of the car is

Hi Sticky, I have sent you a PM with my address. However, I have just read your previous post on this topic, and if you need it hang on to it. If I can't get one, I will just have to use a generic one. I might be able to rig one up under the dash somewhere out of sight, and just keep the original knob sitting in the dash ? Let me know. Thanks Warren
