Hi people,

Adelaide's best and only Jap-specific show has moved from April to 28 February 2010 to try to avoid the Anzac Day showers that have affected it in the past.

Entries will be available through:

http://www.alljapanday.com.au/

.... however as at the time of writing the website had not yet been updated.

Make sure you keep checking! They do NOT allow entries on the day and all entries must be accompanied with a photo. They don't want bling-affected Autosalon machines there; just old-school Jap cars! Oh and mildly modded imports, but don't worry too much about them.

Get onto it!

Cheers,

Dave

You're a gun, dave... beat me to it.

All Japan Day World Domination Tour 2010

We're back and bigger than ever!

Image

The AJD juggernaut rolls back into town once again in 2010!

This year, we’re aiming to roll out 5 events across the nation, but of course we’re starting where it all began, in Adelaide. To try and avoid the monsoonal weather conditions of the last couple of years, we’ve moved this year’s event forward to 28 February, and we’ll be back at Wigley Reserve, Anzac Highway, Glenelg.

This year, entrants will need to pre-pay via PayPal (using a credit card or paypal account) with your application before it can be accepted (if you don’t have PayPal and credit card facilities, contact us and we can process your application manually), to save us the dramas of chasing up no-shows from previous years.

Aside from that, what else has changed? Ummmmm…well…not much really. It’s still $10 for entrants, free for spectators (although we’d appreciate a gold coin donation), and all profits raised from the Adelaide event this year will go to the Cancer Council SA.

For more information about the event and to enter this year, check out our website – http://www.alljapanday.com.au – and follow the relevant links.

The event is only about six weeks away, so don’t dilly-dally, fiddle-faddle or piss-fart around, entrant numbers are limited so it’s first-in first-served!

We look forward to seeing you all again this year, let’s make this one huge!

Cheers
The AJD committee

i wouldn't let the mob in the back of that wasp anywhere near the event dude.
trouble with a capital T............. especially the 3 standing across the back...

GTtoo... nah mate, neither of us can get there. really wanted to, but time is too short, and we will be at the races at phillip island that weekend anyway, with a few other guys from around the traps. be a top weekend too!!

cush... mate, please tell me there's a melbourne day on the cards!! PLEASE!!
i tried a few years ago to get one going, with support from a bigger motoring body over here, and got some of the bigger jap-based car clubs in on the ground floor too, but.... what a god-damn fiasco. the motoring mob were all american and british guys, so i got the "ohh, jap crap" feeling very early on, and then it became a case of some clubs wanting it "their way or no way", but expecting someone else to do the work!! i just gave up in the end, and that was that. real shame too, as it was looking like a couple of hundred cars attending if there was a common ground found, and alot of them were old tin.
and believe me, there's some very very nice jap stuff around too....
seriously cush, if u need a hand over here, sing out mate.
cheers.
brett.

That's the reason why it's just the five of us doing this.

Less to get in they way.

We've had offers, for "assistance", i.e. Branded name with a marginally larger, less targeted out reach.

We may be seeking sponsorship at some point but it needs to be the right (unobtrusive, similarly motivate) sort.

YEah.. victoria's on the cards (if it's good enough for a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, it's good enough for us.) ;)

and we are looking for local helpers, so we'll keep you in mind.

Phillip Island PR91 ?!? Now that passes as a good enough excuse (just). We'll try our hardest to make up for your absences.

Yeah, strange why not in Vic.
