Hi Mark,

I don't think anyone is arguing with you about keeping your thread on track, but as you know with these cars discussions can get out of hand!

I was glad to see the breakdown of the headlights; yes that's something we just didn't get here and as you stated it appears to be a Jap-spec only thing, so to see them apart like that gives some insight as to how they are put together. That's something you don't get in the brochures!

Perhaps the spline talk will become relevant one day when you want to get a sports wheel and steering boss, but for now I think it's over (hopefully).

Those wheels are something else as well; they don't appear to be a factory item. Perhaps they're some sort of aftermarket steelie like the various wheels that were popular before alloy wheels become more commonplace.

They appeared to be a bit phatter than the average Bellett wheel that's for sure! Thanks for the update - glad to see things are progressing. Don't worry about being slow; work on my cars hasn't really started yet at all! But a man can dream....

IT RUNS !
We had to rig up a hand operated pump to get fuel to the carb and manually operate the choke but we were able to coax her to life...Thanks to Kevin for the help and technical ability!
the little G130 was really making a racket without a muffler !
we had it running about 2min before it became clear we would need hoses and a cleanup in that area of the car in order to continue, you'll be seeing me soon in the help section ... :)

See ya
Mark

Having replaced all the hoses we fired her up again with the hand pump and it ran for about 20 minutes, alittle rough at first but then it settled down nicely, now to remove the fuel pump and see if it has ruptured diaphram or what.... also had the left rear wheel drum off finally and it was alot cleaner than I though it would be! everything looks solid and the pad's good in this one wheel at least .... so maybe the braking system will be salvagable.
also had the original alternator rebuilt - new bearings, diodes and wiring ...
thats the latest on the pr10

Later...
Mark

I'm pretty sure those are mid-1970's Toyota Corolla rims (particularly the 1600cc Liftback or Coupe models). Didn't know Toyota and Isuzu had the same stud pattern.

Cheers,
Duane

Re steel rims. I have one in the boot of an imported 117. The car is very original. However, it is not the same as the wheels on the car so who knows what its origin is. The numbers on mine are; 5Jx13 32 78/7. Apart from that there is an N stamped on the front and a little lug about two matchsticks wide and 2cm. long welded to the rim just right of the valve stem hole. A.J.

Confirmed...1976 Toyota Corolla SR-5 1600 (US market), also on Corolla Liftbacks here in Australia.

Thanks guys for the input on these wheels,I was really trying to determine if they were "Bellett" wheels or not, since the only ones I ever saw were also on a Toyota from a car trading site, and mine are opp.of the 117 AJ described, four of these steelies and one plain standard Bellett steel rim in the boot. :)

This is where we are now and appreciate everyone's input on the wheel and bearing issues and concerns from other posts here, quite helpful.

For more Bellett knowledge and trivia the wheel bearings, races, and seal on the PR10 is the same as other models:

Koyo Brand
1988/1922
LM11949/LM11910
CR17910

Those wheels are from Toyota GT's models...Corolla, Celica, etc. From 1973 to 1983.

GREAT Isuzu :)

Hi Earthp

It is interesting and left me wondering how those wheels ended up on this Bellett. I have only been able to track this car back to it's last owner and he is deceased ..... :(
most of us here lack the history on these cars that exsists elsewhere.

Regards
Mark

When I cleaned out the car I came across this single floor mat, was this a common accessory?

Cheers
