Get this guys, I had a client come into the office today to give me a Florian owners manual he no longer wants or needs (been about 20 years since he had the car... he said it even cramped his style growing up when all his mates had HQ SS Kingswoods and GTS Monaros!)... and the first thing I saw when I opened it up is the badge above.
Yep, early Florian; 1967-1968 flat-headlight/small tail light model!
Confirmed! I'll try to slap a pic up, but I'm pressed for time ATM!

FLORIAN wins the competition. Yep Dave I had that model that is why I recognised the item. It was the first model to come to Australia, I bought mine from Colt Motors in Parramatta (now defunct) in February 1969. A great car and a great deal of fun to drive, sold in 1971 when I had a mental blockage and bought a new 1971 Datsun 1600, which was unfortunately built in Australia and I had a heap of problems with it, mechanically OK, the body was shit at least the one I had!! I ended up selling the Datsun and bought my first Bellett GT, 1966 model drove it to Darwin and back fully loaded, GREAT CAR!! DM.

Funny thing, I thought that looked Florian when I first saw it, but I didn't have any pics to confirm. A mate had an early Flo once - must have been a flashback memory! Does anyone know of any early models anywhere? I can't think of one! Cheers, Matt.

OK. I really don't have any idea of prices, so I will base them on the cars i know? Guessing these parts are hard to find & as they are all perfect, I think they will be worth the prices I list with? Tell me if I am dreaming Top picture headlight surround (unsure if the matching one is there?) = $50 Top picture Grill. Perfect, still in plastic cover. $250 Hubcap = $50 Aluminium surrounds = $40 ea Grille lower pics = $150 Florian tailgate badge = $50 All items, NOS & perfect. As soon as i get the bumpers out I will list them here. Rob J PM me or call 0411 811 215

Good luck with the stuff; really thought some takers would grab the NOS sedan grille parts, dammit!
I'd get the Florian boot badge, but it's for the wrong model to mine!
Oh well; when in doubt, eBay!
Cheers,
Dave
