Yeah, thought about that... for about 10sec. I'm curious to see what happens to that car though.
Do you think it's as original as he says?

i can tell you that it won't go for 10k, that's for sure. i was offered 12 for mine at corowa last year, and that's pretty right for it, so 5 is more like the right price for the ebay unit... but if he does get 10 for it, then mine has just hit the 20 mark, so start bidding and make me rich!! btw... seen the Wasp on ebay yet?? originality wise for that GT... it's look pretty damn good. the "pros" for it are that it's still got the fog lights. they were the first things either broken or stolen. it looks right under the bonnet, but that's just what i can see in the pics. the interior has original, but rooted, carpet, and the plastic on the door trims is very VERY rare. the cons are that it's missing the hubcaps (he says he has 3 and can get another one... GOOD LUCK MATE!!. ben got the last one from dick in holland, and we don't know of any more...). the "Bellett" badges are missing from the quarters. the front bar is well RS. they are different to a sedan bar too, so it's not a swap-over job either. in all, i could see 5k in it, but 10 would mean it was more like ben's (ie: very good, original, and complete.)

We'll just have to watch with interest and see what happens... I'm pretty sure you could get a GT imported from japan (1971, 1800 with twin webers) for around $15k so I'm doing that before making you rich dude! Cheers, R.

Do you think it's as original as he says? this GT has turned up in Victoria... the home of Australia's best Bellett's. bought by a owner, well known to some of us, that has some other very nice Bellett's, a Wasp, and some other rare cars, so it's definitly gone to a good home. it will be resto'd where needed, so mainly just a "cosmetic" job.
