   | BE AWARE THIS COMING WEEKEND IS THE ABOVE CAR SHOW AND WEEKEND. Held in Jack Brabham PARK South Orange, cars are to be in place prior to 930 AM for the start of the show at 1030 am, public are still allowed in earlier than the 1030 official start time. This Event is becoming more popular each year and due to the popularity has gained some very interesting backers. At the Saturday night dinner they have a guest speaker who is always related to Motor Sport in some way shape or form. If the weather looks after us, it is usually a good day out. _________________

   | Hi Guys and Gals,Monica beat me with the post, Gary phoned her to tell her the news.
We had a good day, albeit wet most of the time, quite a few cars turned up to beat the weather. In a new location on the Jack Brabham Park, it took us longer to get into place. I was hoping to travel with Denis and Margaret however they left Mudgee about an 1 3/4 hour before me and were in place when I arrived, not long after we arrived, Gary and Zac arrived, Zac in his 240Z car.
We were about to leave when Gary and Denis wanted to wait for the "Show and Shine" presentation, I was not aware they were even conducting a "Show and Shine"!
I waited in my GT to travel back to Mudgee with the 3 other cars, when the presentation started we all heard Isuzu Bellett called out over the PA SYSTEM , Gary, Denis and Zac and myself decided to walk over to see what car number they were calling out, turned out to be number 80, My GT!
The award was for Best Car 1967 to 1981, a nice little trophy and a pack of McGuires Car Care products in a well presented carry bag, estimated value about $200-00, certainly will be very useful!!
No doubt when Gary gets home Monica will post the photo taken with the trophy!
Even though very wet, a good day was had by the four of us!! Refer attached below, photos taken before the rain started.
 Dave M.
