It's here again, and hard to believe a year has passed! Saturday, March 12, 9am. It's been a busy week, (is there ever one that isn't?) but I had time wednesday to rub some polish on Doris. So up in the morning & into Boorowa for what is looking like it will be bigger than last year. We had some top street machines along, & so the word has spread that there is good competition. This time I'll take the camera instead of chasing others for pics!!
If you're about, come for a look, or better, bring your special machine & show it off. It's a roll-up start & open to ANY make model & age.
Cheers, Matt.

So, it was a BEAUTIFUL day, after 60+ mm of rain during the previous 24 hrs. The display area was too wet, so we had to use the carpark, but it was all good. Over 100 historics, modifieds, Rods Utes & Bikes. Lots of car looking, car talking, car listening, and a ROCK band! (NOT country!) Many trophies were given & there was cheering & stuff........... Great Shots Matty, your usual quality. I will have to make it one day with the GT, looks like a great Event. We are currently on holidays on the South Coast, Batemans Bay, another great location. They have a very active Car Club down here, The Eurobodalla Coast Car Club, some very nice cars in the Club. Thanks for the Post, great to look at. DM.

Thanks guys. Anytime you like Dave, it will be a sometime-in-March annual event now. Yeah B, here's the spec sheet - all torboey-all wheel drivey-bling. Made a kinda vveeeeEEEEEEP-whoosh sound as it left, and 'for sale' too. Attachment:

"Entrant's Choice" - A bit of a surprise to the crowd, and the owner, but it was my pick. All original except manifold & carby on a 273 (or 318) V8 push-button auto. But it had been completely re-wired with modern circut breakers, relays, etc. behind the glovebox lid (with the CD player. Made more reliable. Attachment:

Pick-up of the day. After the show, Gary Carter goes for a Chinese lunch, and spots this in front of the Pie shop. The owner had inherited it, but was short of room. Gary said "I've been watching for one of these" and got the "Make me an offer". (They had pushed it onto the trailer) He put a battery in, pumped the throttle & - Life! Drove it off & up to his cabin! And at a price a pensioner could afford! Attachment:

How did that go Matt ?? veeeeEEEEEP, whoosh......... !! Cheers for the specs. That IS a crazy little....660 !?! Had no idea they came in an all wheel drive conversion. I think everyone missed the best peoples choice. As history shows, the much under rated belletts. Not being bias or anything...... B. p.s. and a top score at the end of the day. Drive away, no more to pay

I reckon the 'whoosh' was the waste gate & the other bit was the 0-50k's in about 10 car lengths! (In town, with police in attendance)
True! See, we know, but they don't. Which is possibly a good thing, or we couldn,t afford 'em! Any percieved bias is understandable.
Went for a run in the KB. Everything works! The only fault is a hole in the head's welsh plug. Not too hard a fix. And it's an '80 model - makes it old enough for club rego. Sometime this week! As I left he was rubbing polish on it - even the paint is sound! Bargain! Cheers mate.
