What changes were required to get it to work on the VY?VL400 wrote:The VX one suits VY too, its the VY listen ADX that differs to VX as the dash data changes between models.
I have been talking to OZ38 on PM about this issue yesterday. Have tested the VX ADX on my software ALDL simulator program with a VY vehicle and VY PCM, and also a VT/VX/VY bench with PCM, cluster and BCM. It connects and logs ok but wont on his vehicle. Same with the listen ADX, works on the bench but wont on his car. Have asked OZ38 for the debug file from the logger, it may have some more clues as to what is going on if there is an ADX issue. Will get to the bottom of it!

Re: ALDL Logger V2
I have updated the zip file in the first post with the modified ADX VX_DualA.adx.
The changes were to reduce the silence search to 15ms (was 50ms) and increase the delay between logging messages to 10ms (was 3ms)

Re: ALDL Logger V2
Yeah there are no more available. I use a Logger V3 in my own car and may make these available in the future but it is fairly different to the V2 - no screen, no real user interface other than a single button and RGB LED, it is a permanent install logger that just automatically records.dusto wrote:so am i reading right these awsome little bits of kit are no longer available

Have done 4 logged & viewed them on TP for myself to see if I can find an issue.

Re: ALDL Logger V2
Ok, I'm going to be using the Logger on a mates VR, he's wired a Innovative WB O2 (XML ?) into the car, Planning on swapping the tune over to 11p so I would just need to put the 0-5v output from the O2 into one of the analoge inputs on the logger and use the provided 11P_1Bar_AUX.ADX definition for the logger and be good to go?
