Re: Delco DIS On Non DIS Engine
yeah cam sensor on VR V6 Auto and Ecotec is on the front of the timing cover and from memory is a similar plug to the IAC sensor but might be only 3 pins ....
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

yep that sounds right. and there is a plastic guide on the edge that stops it going in, but a pair of snips and trim it out the way and its good to connect, seal and lock on.

Re: Delco DIS On Non DIS Engine
I dug a 3 pin out of a vt v6 off the cam sensor just this morning same deal only there were 2 lugs on each side that required filing off,
Re: Delco DIS On Non DIS Engine
Once the D1927A has been wired in, how do you workout which coil output goes to plugs 1, 2, 3 and 4?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Delco DIS On Non DIS Engine
Im not sure what I cross referenced to figure it out.. but I can tell you being wasted spark it'll fire both on the left coil then both on the right coil and repeat. So if you consider that and wire it up for your engines firing order you'll have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. A quick crank from there and you should know if you need to swap it around.

Re: Delco DIS On Non DIS Engine
If I understand you correctly, does that mean that the firing order of the image below would be 1, 3, 2, 4?
Thanks.
Thanks.
